PES welcomed a 1st grade student who served as acting Head of School yesterday, with exciting proclamations of a uniform-free day, extra recess, special morning announcements, pizza for lunch, and even a schoolwide surprise treat! “Be HOS for the Day” is one of many popular annual auction offerings that families can bid on for their students. Great leaders learn by example — huge shoutout to our HOS Kerin Hughes for making this experience so memorable & rewarding for our student winner. #pesteacherstuesday #pesauction2024

In celebration of Earth Day, PES 7th graders created & performed a skit for the entire student body on ways to be leaders in preserving the earth, 1st graders made Earth Day hats and enjoyed a math activity about recycling, and kindergarteners created Earth Day-inspired sidewalk art. #pesmindfulmonday
