Palisades Episcopal School welcomes Kevin Dunlap to the position of Chairman of its Board of Trustees. Kevin succeeds founding Chairman, Peter C. Browning, who served as Palisades Episcopal School’s Chairman since the School’s inception in 2007.
Kevin has served on the PES Board for 4 years and with his wife, Elizabeth, has been an active member of the School community. The Dunlaps have a rising 4th grader at PES, and Elizabeth serves as president of FPES (Families for Palisades Episcopal School).
Kevin is a trial lawyer and a partner with the prestigious law firm of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein, one of the oldest and largest law firms in Charlotte. He has been listed in the “Top 25” lawyers in South Carolina by South Carolina Super Lawyers. He is also recognized in Woodward/White’s The Best Lawyers in America. Kevin has been lead trial counsel to some of the largest companies in the Carolinas during trials with hundreds of media reports about the cases. He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University and was the recipient of the Stanley D. Rose Award for writing. He was Associate Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Kevin received his undergraduate degree from Furman University where he was the recipient of the General Excellence Award presented by the faculty at graduation and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
